The taste of southern Italy
Our „Pesto ai Pomodori e Zucchine" is a delicious tribute to the intense aromas of southern Italy. We therefore use only "Pomodori Salentini" that ripe in the rich soils of the Apulian tableland. Their taste is as unique as the fields they grow on. The exceptional soil and the sunny climate of southern Italy give the tomatoes their wonderful fruity and juicy aroma. For this we gladly accept that Pomodori Salentini have to be picked by hand due to their delicate skins. In our pesto, the tomatoes come together with the crisp "Zucchina Romanesca" that adds a slight nutty aroma. It is then perfected by the help of more high-quality ingredients like flavoursome Pecorino Romano and Italian peperoncino. And it is a matter of honour to us that we only the best possible use organic ingredients of impeccable quality.
Ingredients
(all from organic farming): Sun-ripened Salentino tomatoes from the Apulian tableland (30%), Romanesca Zucchini, Extra Vergine olive oil, Pecorino Romano, garlic, salt, a hint of peperoncino and lots of love.

Our "Pesto ai Pomodori e Zucchine" not only adds something special to any type of pasta but also to paninis, grilled vegetables or pizza.
Preparation
We would advise thinning the pesto a little with water or olive oil before consumption. Or just use a trick that our mothers like to use in order to make a sauce lighter: just keep a little of the salted cooking-water and mix it, as well as the pesto and the pasta. This makes a meal just as tasty as in any restaurant.
